Betsy and the team carry forward a “holistic approach” to workforce placement, development, training and retention. Betsy Cerulo is the founder of AdNet/AccountNet, Inc. -Advocates for Workplace Excellence & Equality which is LGBTE and WBE certified. AdNet is an 8(a) and WOSB management consulting firm based in Baltimore, Maryland serving clients throughout the United States.
Betsy has her Bachelors Degree in Business from Catholic University of America and Master of Science Degree from Capital University of Integrative Medicine in Integrative Health Science.
Betsy’s passion is fostering/mentoring new entrepreneurs and serving Diverse communities. AdNet serves the Marian House in preparing women for the workforce who have successfully completed their rehabilitation program. Betsy serves on the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce and Women’s Presidents’ Educational Organization Certification Committee; and is a member of the NGLCC Federal Procurement Group advocating for LGBT owned companies to receive contract set aside recognition.
Betsy is Co-founder & Past President of the Maryland LGBT Chamber of Commerce www.mdlgbt.org. She currently serves as Legislative Chair and Corporate Sponsorship Co-Chair.
Betsy is married to her long-time spouse, Susan. They live in Baltimore City, have 2 children, 3 grandchildren.
Betsy's greatest professional accomplishment is designing a healthy workplace which advocates creativity, excellence and unconditional acceptance. As an openly gay business owner, she is proud to create a safe workplace where we walk the talk of diversity and inclusion for all people.
Betsy’s favorite interests are her Weimaraner Grace Kelly, writing, tennis and running (successfully completed the 2015 & 2014 NJ Half Marathon). Betsy's first children's book Miss Crabapple and Her Magical Violin was released in 2018 and available on Amazon. Her first leadership book, Shake It Off Leadership, is available in the summer of 2020 on Amazon.
Betsy is a 2020 recipient of the Maryland Top 100 Women by The Daily Record and was honored in 2019 by Business Equality Magazine’s Legacy Leaders over 50.AdNet is a 2018 Top 100 MBE in the Mid-Atlantic region recipient. Betsy was recognized by the Baltimore Business Journal as a 2018 Leaders in Diversity and honored by The Daily Record for Maryland's Most Admired CEO's in 2017 .
