Dear AdNet Employees, Clients and Friends;
Wow, I cannot believe that half the summer is behind us! Time sure goes by quickly and we are really busy here at AdNet finding jobs for amazing people and preparing for our modified return to the office schedule in September. Remote work has allowed for better focus time translating to more efficiency and in person collaboration is important for an organization and individual well-being. We are creating a balanced return approach and it will be a living, breathing process to ensure we always provide our best service to everyone we touch.
This past month I have taken time to focus on communications we send out as well as sprucing up our brand, so everyone knows what we stand for. The passing of the Juneteenth federal holiday legislation inspired me. There are some people who tell me that I should stay in my wheelhouse of staffing and that when I touch on charged topics, it’s risky. Isn’t leadership risky? If leadership were easy there would be no reason for us to stretch beyond our comfort levels to make sure our teams are served. When our workplaces are filled with beautiful groups of diversity, leaders must champion everyone, not those who look like ourselves and/or have the same beliefs. Leaders can influence change and in my “maturity” I am and will continue to be part of the necessary changes that our world needs.
Below is AdNet’s new video which is also on our home page: AdNet: Advocates for Workplace Excellence & Equality - YouTube
And here is a link to a radio interview I did yesterday: d1at8ppinvdju8.cloudfront.net/1/197/show_11972853_2021_07_19_17_31_24.mp3
It’s close to 30 minutes so I won’t be offended if you want to cut is short and get back to listening to good music. But there are some good parts that will give you a deeper glimpse into AdNet’s journey which is a reflection of our amazing employees and customers. We do our work together, right? You can’t have one without the other.
That’s it for today. Sending everyone lots a healthy and happy energy and looking forward to seeing some of you in-person over the next few months.
Be well,
Betsy Cerulo CEO
